First Annual Black Sea Bass Open

The BSB Open is a Photo Contest open to consumptive divers. As we all know the recovery of the BSB is a great success story. It demonstrates that regulating specific species is an effective management tool. It is not necessary to close large tract of ocean in order to have a healthy and thriving ecosystem. More info to follow.

Rules:

Contest will run from June 1st thru August 31.

Pics must be taken during that time period and have date stamp

in the description.

No entry fee to participate.

Post your pic on the Spearboard Thread.:

Pics will be judge on composition. Pics with multiple BSB and/or a diver in

the shot will be weighted heavily.

CDOCS will award a prize at the end of the contest. This includes a print by Amadeo Buchar.

Participants agree to waive all liability and accept all the risk involved with

entering the ocean environment in pusuit of a photo. Do not put yourself in danger for a pic.!
